Abstract

Critical thinking is the key to cultivate high-quality talents. This paper discusses the problems existing in the current college oral English instruction through an empirical research and proposes to adopt targeted strategies under the guidance of critical thinking. This paper explores how oral English teachers can change their own ideas and teaching methods by focusing on cultural speculation and presenting compelling China stories in order to help students establish cultural self-confidence and strengthen the cultivation of oral critical thinking ability.
