Les Voyages Maritimes de Zheng He et la Politique Étrangère Chinoise au Début de la Dynastie des Ming

Abstract


Zheng He, à la tête de sa flotte importante, effectua au total 7 grands voyages maritimes de 1405 à 1433, et visita plus de 30 pays étrangers. Cette flotte, aussi puissante qu’elle fut, ne chercha jamais à garantir à la Chine l’hégémonie maritime mais adopata une attitude pacifique ramenant, outre les marchandises, l’amitié des pays voisins. Nous nous proposons dans le présent article de montrer le lien entre les voyages maritimes de Zheng He et la politique étrangère chinoise du début des Ming, ainsi que l’origine de cette politique.
